CRANE SECTION REPAIR
Did you know that damaged crane sections and in fact entire cranes could be repaired locally?
Since 1984 QMW Industries have been successfully repairing and re-certifying damaged crane sections and entire cranes to Australian and ISO standards.
Genuine replacement sections are very expensive and in most cases take months to be delivered from the original crane manufacturer. The benefits of repairing these damaged sections are that we can offer realistic repair costs and minimize the amount of downtime so the crane is back working as soon as possible.
To guarantee that the repairs carried out are safe and to the relevant standards, QMW Industries have the ability and contacts throughout the world to source original materials or in the case of non availability, materials of equivalent grade and specifications.
By applying the standards AS1554.1 and AS1554.4 for exotic steels , the establishment of weld procedures and by using only qualified welders we can ensure that all repairs are performed to the highest quality and standards.
QMW Industries also supply a written report for all repairs, these reports include.
- Engineering inspection results.
